Pulaski Community Hospital

Pulaski Community Hospital is a short term acute care facility providing extensive services to the residents of Virginia's New River Valley. It was started in 1915 as a small cottage hospital.

A full range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, obstetrical, surgical and critical care are offered there. It has a variety of service departments, which includes anesthesiology, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, gynecology, urology, radiation oncology and hematology.

Pulaski Community holds the reputation as the first hospital in U S ever to earn both distinctions - the accreditation of the Joint Commission for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the ISO 9002 standards.

Pulaski Community Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Pulaski Community Hospital provides Teaching facilities.
