Swedish Medical Center-Providence



Swedish Medical Center is a medical care unit founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1877. It became part of the Swedish health-care system by July 2000. A voluntary inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults, a general surgery program and a program for patients experiencing a wide variety of neurological disorders are some of the services provided by SMC. Gift shop, patient support services, special projects and events, and recreational activities are other facilities offered.

Swedish Medical Center-Providence accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
