Swedish Medical Center is the most comprehensive, nonprofit health provider in the Pacific Northwest. It has been the region’s hallmark for excellence in health care since 1910. Swedish is named the area's best hospital, with the best doctors, the nurses and the care in a variety of specialty areas. It has other two hospital locations - Ballard Campus, and Providence Campus. It also has a network of 12 primary-care clinics. Swedish Medical Center conducts home-care services program, diabetes education, residency training programs and Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Swedish Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
