Organized as Grant County Public Hospital District No. 1 in 1947, Samaritan Healthcare is a multifaceted health care organization located in Moses Lake. Started of in a converted barracks building, the hospital was transferred to its current location in 1952. The hospital was expanded in 1980, 1992 and 2002. <P> Samaritan is the only full-service hospital in the Columbia Basin and is committed to improving the well-being of the people in this area. The new facility features single-bed rooms, intensive care unit, a new Mother and Baby Center, a new cafeteria and lobby, and expanded patient and family waiting areas. <P> SH also boasts a Masto Health Library which offers a plethora of medical research materials, customer relations materials and other learning tools.
