Valley Hospital and Medical Center
Valley Hospital and Medical Center is a hospital serving to meet the healthcare needs of all the residents of the Spokane Valley region, Washington. Located in the heart of Spokane Valley, this acute care medical center boasts some of the most advanced medical technology in the area. Opened its doors in 1969 with the name as Spokane Valley General Hospital, this 95-beded hospital was the first hospital in Spokane to have physicians in the emergency room 24 hours per day. The hospital became part of the Empire Health Services and its name was changed to Valley Hospital and Medical Center in 1985. Valley Hospital and Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital with the accreditation of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Cafeteria and gift shops are other facilities provided by the center.
