From a 40 bed private medical facility in 1959, the Pleasant Valley Hospital, over the years, has grown to a 101 bed acute care facility offering the best of healthcare services to the community of Point Pleasant in West Virginia.

Its range of services includes allergy clinic, anesthesiology, cardiac rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics along with rehabilitation and work conditioning programs.

This not-for-profit community hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Pleasant Valley Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
