Bryce Hospital

Bryce Hospital, the oldest and largest inpatient psychiatric facility in the state, is adjacent to the University of Alabama. Its healthcare programs and facilities got accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO) - a major hospital accreditation agency in USA. In addition to residential treatment and rehabilitation services, programs for acute care, Medicaid certified adolescent inpatient care and extended care are provided.

The hospital also operates two Medicaid certified intermediate care facilities which provide treatments for those who are suffering with serious mental illness.

Harper Geriatric Hospital is a 100 bedded hospital on the Bryce campus.

Bryce Hospital accepts Medicare patients.
