Lexington Medical Center

Lexington Medical Center is a metropolitan medical complex that is the hub of a comprehensive, county-wide health care network, which in fact is the largest extended care facility in the state. The network encompasses six community medical centers at strategic locations throughout Lexington County, an Alzheimer\'s Care Center, an occupational health center and affiliated physician practices. Lexington Medical Center is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and has been accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals. Rikard Nursing Homes and Lexington Medical Center in Irmo are its satellite centers.

Lexington Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
