Lompoc Healthcare District
Lompoc Healthcare District was created in 1946 as the first operating healthcare district in California. This hospital is fully licensed by the Department of Health Services, California and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
Lompoc Healthcare District Hospital has a 60 bed general acute care hospital and a 110 bed skilled nursing facility. Other hospital services include obstetrics, orthopedics, trauma care center, inpatient and outpatient services, health promotion and maintenance programs and geriatric long-term care for district residents.
The hospital also runs a Convalescent Care Center offering long term care for 110 residents over the age of 65. They also help the residents to attain or maintain physical, mental and emotional well being.
