Highland Park Hospital



Established in 1918, Highland Park Hospital is a clinic system providing a high-quality, professional medical system to care for the healthcare needs of the rural citizens in Cook County. This 239-bed hospital is the site of the first open heart surgery in the Lake county. Highland Park is a part of the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare.

The services of the hospital include Family Birthing Center, Ambulatory Care Center, multi-disciplinary cancer care at the Kellogg Cancer Care Center, a CT/PET Scan for diagnostics and a CT Simulator and Linear Accelerator for radiation therapy. Wide variety of mental health services, including a center for eating disorders, adolescent psychiatric care and the Doreen E. Chapman Center for substance abuse, are also available.

The specialty services include pastoral care, mail and flowers, newspapers and books. Free parking is available in the Visitor's parking lots near the main entrance to the Hospital. Visitor dining room, lounges and waiting rooms, coffee bar, a gift shop and outpatient laboratory are other added features of Highland Park Hospital.

Highland Park Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
