Galichia Heart Hospital

Located in Wichita, Galichia Heart Hospital is one of the most advanced centers for the study and treatment of heart disease. It is an 80-bed acute cardiac facility that employs a staff of 361, including board certified physicians, registered nurses and anesthesiologists.

The Galichia Heart Hospital, (Gheart), which opened its doors for service in December 2001, is a state-of-the-art heart hospital mainly focuses upon the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The surgery department at the hospital performs open heart procedures, vascular procedures such as femoral-popliteal bypass and carotid endarterectomy. It also is home to comprehensive services, including the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, the Electrophysiology Lab, the Heart Failure Clinic, and the Endoscopy Lab.

Galichia Heart Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
