MountainView Regional Medical Center, which opened in 2002, is a new choice of healthcare to Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico. The center, a part of Triad Hospitals, Inc., features spacious, all-private patient rooms and a full-service emergency room. Its key services include a Comprehensive Women's Center; a Interventional Regional Heart Center that offers cardiology services, cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery; an Intensive Care Unit and a CCU Unit; emergency services; in- and out-patient surgical services; diagnostic imaging services; inpatient rehabilitation; a Pain Management Center; a Wound Care Center; and an ADA Certified Diabetes Program.

In addition, the center hosts a wide range of community education and prevention programs.
