VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System

VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) provides primary and secondary care to a large geographical area that includes 20 counties in northern Nevada and northeastern California. It provides a broad array of inpatient and outpatient services in medicine, surgery, neurology, mental health, pharmacy, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, speech pathology, dental care and nuclear medicine. Special programs include behavioral medicine, day treatment, women's health, ionizing radiation, home based primary care, respite care and sleep apnea clinic.

The hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound and diagnostic cardiac catheterization services. VASNHCS is affiliated to University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno and the East Bay Surgical Program at the University of California, San Francisco.

VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
