Maryhaven Center of Hope
Maryhaven Center of Hope, started in 1930, is one of the largest multi-service agencies in Long Island, New York. It is recognized for its services for children, adults and senior citizens with mental illness.
The center organizes numerous specialty programs for disables aged between 5 and 80. Three-stage residential program, vocational rehabilitation, out patient mental health services, psychosocial services, day habilitation and weekend recreation respite, and a broad range of adult residential programs are organized for adult patients. The Maryhaven School and Residential Program is designed to assist the children to strengthen their behavioral choices and social interaction.
Maryhaven Work Center is a workstation owned by the Maryhaven. It specializes in handling industrial packaging and assembly, electrical assembly, micrographics document imaging and document destruction/shredding. The assembling and packing are held at production and assembly plant.
