Stamford Hospital is a not-for-profit community medical facility serving the healthcare needs of the residents of Stamford and surrounding communities for more than a century. It features world class facilities in medicine, surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatry, and medical and surgical critical care units. The hospital’s specialty centers include center for fertility and reproductive endocrinology, genetic counseling, perinatology services to assist women with high-risk pregnancies, the family birthing center, and a level ii neonatal intensive care unit pediatricians are available in-house 24 hours-a-day.

Stamford Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
