Bayhealth Medical Center is a not-for-profit health care system dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to the residents of Dover and neighboring areas in Delaware. It came in to being in 1997 as a result of the merger of Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital. Bayhealth is in fact the second largest healthcare facility in Delaware.

Bayhealth Medical Center’s range of services includes audiology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, pastoral care, pediatrics, and cancer care.

Bayhealth Medical Center is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Bayhealth Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Bayhealth Medical Center provides Teaching facilities.
