The Alfred I Dupont Hospital for Children was founded in 1940 and since then has been catering to the healthcare needs of children from across the country and around the world. Along with the Nemours Children's Clinic, Alfred I Dupont Hospital is the academic partner of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Medical College.

Originally founded as an orthopedic facility, Alfred I Dupont Hospital are now a 180-bed hospital that offers all the specialties of pediatric medicine, surgery, and dentistry in a spacious, comfortable, and family-focused facility.

Alfred I Dupont Hospital for Children accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
