Medical Center of Central Georgia
Medical Center of Central Georgia is an acute care, tertiary medical facility in Macon, Bibb County. It is part of the Central Georgia Health System, Inc., and a primary affiliate and teaching site for Mercer University School of Medicine.
Medical Centerís key services include general medical and surgical care, general intensive care, cardiac intensive care, neurology department, pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics and trauma center. The hospital campus is also home to the Georgia Heart Center and the Children's Hospital, and a Level 1 Trauma Center, as well as a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Medical Center of Central Georgia is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
