Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, formed in 1998 as a result of the merger of Egleston Children’s Health Care System and Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center, is one of the leading pediatric healthcare systems in Georgia and the rest of the country. This not-for-profit organization is also rated among the top five for its specialty services in cancer, cardiac, neonatal and orthopedic treatments.

Other specialty services offered include urology, sleep disorder programs, diabetes management, cardiology, craniofacial treatment and respiratory treatment.

Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
