Southeast Alabama Medical Center is an acute care facility in Dothan. It was started in 1957, with an aim at providing the best diagnostic, medical and surgical services to the neighboring communities and counties of south-east Alabama, south-west Georgia and Florida Panhandle.

Alta care, advanced home medical, behavioral medicine, rehabilitation, maternity care program, orthopedic care and pain management are among the main services provided there.

Southeast Alabama Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
