Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center

Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center is Baptist Health System accredited hospital, serving people of Talladega County and surrounding communities. Formerly known as Sylacauga Hospital, it was the only hospital allowed to remain open during World War II.

The medical center fulfill the needs of the patients by providing best means of healthcare facilities such as 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, obstetrics and gynecology unit, pediatrics, internal medicine, family practice, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, urology, nuclear medicine and a full range of diagnostic services such as CT scan, MRI, X-ray and laboratory.

Coosa Valley BMC runs two nursing homes, ambulatory care center, Coosa valley regional cancer center, Cheaha mental health center, Alabama allergy - ENT center, central Alabama digestive disease and nutritional center, Sylacauga family medicine center and Sylacauga medical clinic.

Cheaha Mental Health Center provides effective and quality services for those who affected by mental illness, mental retardation or substance abuse.

Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
