Molokai General Hospital
Molokai General Hospital is a special community hospital located on the island of Molokai in Hawaii. Registered with the ARRT and Hawaii State license, it is a part of the Queen's Health System since 1987.
MGH is a 30-bed rural health-care facility with the only emergency room and urgent-care clinic for the island's 7,000 residents and visitors. Accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), the hospital provides acute, long-term care, and low-risk obstetrical services.
This critical access hospital has a library conference room. The specialized services of MGH are breast cancer screening/mammograms, home health services, physical rehabilitation, wound management services and women's health center. Community outreach such as health screenings and meals on wheels are also provided by the hospital. Additionally, through a grant provided by The Queen's Medical Center and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, MGH has been able to provide services through its Auinala (end of life services) program.
