Kona Community Hospital
Kona Community Hospital is a primary health care facility serving the people of West Hawaii. This 94-bed full service medical center is located in Kealakekua, Kona, 18 miles south of Kona International Airport.
Started with 52 beds in 1941, the facility is now housed in a three-story structure constructed in 1975 and is with a 9 bed intensive care unit. KCH employs 475 employees and has 61 active medical staff members representing a wide variety of medical specialties. Patient services include 24-hour emergency room, obstetrics/gynecology, laboratory and pathology services.
