St Lukes Regional Medical Center

St Lukes Regional Medical Center, the largest health care providers, is based at Boise, Idaho. It was started by Rev James B. Funsten in 1902 as a six bed hospital .

St Lukes comprises three full-service hospitals - St Luke's Children's Hospital (Boise), St Luke's Meridian Medical Center (Meridian) and St Luke's Wood River Medical Center (Sun Valley Area) - and more than 25 outpatient treatment facilities and clinics. Its service spectrum includes a wide range of medical services such as surgical services, heart and vascular services, women's services, eye care, home care, neurological services, urinary incontinence diagnosis and treatment, hospice, social work services and educational services.

Apart from social, psychological and cultural oriented classes, events and support groups, spiritual care and counseling for patients, family and staff are offered. St Lukes Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

St Lukes Regional Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
