Community Memorial Hospital

Founded in 1897, Community Memorial Hospital is a private, not-for-profit organization located in Monmouth of Western Illinois. It was reconstructed and opened for service in April 1904. It also operates a training school for nurses and CMC Clinics. The occupancy of the acute care area and the long-term care unit began in August 1968. The long-term care unit is home two types of guests - long-term care residents and respite care visitors. Community Memorial Hospital is currently famous as Community Medical Center of Western Illinois.

Hospital services include acute and skilled nursing care beds, long-term care, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, home health care, a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services including nuclear scanning, computed tomography (CT) scanning, stress testing, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone densitometry, mammography, and ultrasound. CMH also arranges community education programs. Cafeteria and a gift shop are other amenities of CMH.

Community Memorial Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
