Vista Health-Victory Memorial Hospital
Vista Health-Victory Memorial Hospital is a 142-bed facility operating in Waukegan. It is one of the two hospitals operated by Vista Health, a non-profit corporation that was created in 2000 by the merger of Saint Therese Medical Center and Victory Memorial Hospital.
The Victory Memorial Hospital has a history of more than 110 years. It was originally established as a 7-bed hospital in 1891. Today, the hospital is well renowned for its diagnostic technology in cardiac care and its modern, efficient dialysis program. It also specializes in cancer treatment programs, orthopedic care and endoscopic surgery, and houses a family-centered maternity ward and Alzheimer's disease center. It is also the state-designated Level II Trauma Center for Lake County.
