McDonough District Hospital
Established since 1958, McDonough District Hospital has been a source of healing, caring and hope to the people of western Illinois. This 113-bed healthcare facility provides an impressive spectrum of advanced medical treatments and personalized health services. It is accredited, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).
The various services provided by MDH include advocacy services, behavioral health, cardiopulmonary, diabetes education center, diagnostic services, home health, hospice, laboratory, physical and occupational therapies, renal dialysis. In addition, MDH offers services and programs related to the provision of health promotion, maintenance, and care. Wellness education classes are arranged by programs such as LifeSteps. It also has a two-year program to become a radiological technologist in the School of Radiological Technology.
