Established in 1958, Midwestern Region Medical Center is a general medical and surgical type hospital located in a restorative, rural setting in Zion, Illinois. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and Association of Community Cancer Centers.

Being one of the premier providers of cancer care, The Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center offers the best of traditional treatment-chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery.

Midwestern's medical staff is comprised of more than 100 physicians who specialize in oncology, emergency medicine, cardiology, internal medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, orthopedics, surgery, podiatric medicine, and other medical areas.

Services at Midwestern include the CTCA-managed cancer program, a 24-hour emergency center, intensive and coronary care unit, general surgery, and an advanced podiatric surgery program. Community outreach such as health fairs and health screenings are also conducted.

Midwestern Region Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
