St. Vincent Memorial Hospital
An affiliate of Memorial Health System of Springfield, St. Vincent Memorial Hospital is a Catholic critical access hospital serving the residents of Taylorville and Christian County. Since its humble beginning in 1906 on South Walnut Street, it has been growing right along with the community and evolving to meet the changing needs of its residents. Major services offered are a Women's Health Center, including obstetrical services and nursery; an Intensive Care Unit; acute care / medical surgical services; skilled nursing facility; home health services; surgery, pediatric unit; rehabilitative services-physical, occupational and speech therapy; radiology and nuclear medicine; and pulmonary rehabilitation.
St. Vincent Memorial Hospital is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals and is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
