St. Joseph's Hospital is a non-profit, catholic healthcare facility established by the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis in 1878. For more than a century, it has been providing quality healthcare for Highland-area residents.

Today, St. Joseph's Hospital, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, is a 106-bed, critical access community hospital staffed by nearly 50 physicians, representing more than 25 specialties. It offers a full-range of medical services from CT scans and mammography services to physical therapy and dietary services.
