Ingalls Memorial Hospital

Located on a beautiful 37-acre campus just 20 minutes south of Chicago and west of Hammond Indiana, Ingalls Memorial Hospital is the only community hospital in the area providing clinical services and outcomes comparable to major medical centers. Ingalls is affiliated with more cancer research programs than any other cancer program in the South Suburbs. It also has numerous specialty product lines including of diagnostic treatment, education and rehab services. The centers of excellence are in cancer care, new cancer therapy and cardiac care.

IMH operates 582 beds and serves as the hub for the South Cook County Emergency Medical Services system. For additional care, Ingalls offers a full range of services including home care, outpatient nutritional counseling and professional pharmacy. Other facilities inside the campus are Ingalls Employee Child Care Center, Ingalls Cancer Care Center, Ingalls Health Management Center, Ingalls Home Care and Skilled Nursing Facility.

Ingalls parking garage has a rooftop heliport, ensuring patients efficient emergency access to and from other institutions.

Ingalls Memorial Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
