Saint Anthony Medical Center
Opened its doors in 1899, OSF Saint Anthony Health Center is a 254-bed tertiary care facility located on a 100-acre campus in Rockford, serving patients of about 10-county areas. It is the first medical center in Rockford to earn the prestigious Magnet designation. This regional medical center provides pioneer care in the Level I Trauma Center, Regional Heart Institute, Center for Cancer Care, Illinois Neurosciences Institute and Women’s Center.
OFS contains over 2,000 employees, more than 200 active and associate medical staff and more than 200 physicians with courtesy admitting privileges. Services of OSF include cardiac intensive care, cardiology, neurology, pediatric medical and surgical care, obstetrics, orthopedics, emergency department lifeline helicopter service, lifeline ambulance services and women service. It also provides off-campus services.
Saint Anthony Health Center is a member of OSF HealthCare and is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).
