Wabash Valley Hospital
Wabash Valley Hospital is a community mental health center serving nine counties in Lafayette, Indiana. It is a leading medical facility for adults, adolescents and children suffering from mental illness, severe emotional turmoil, chemical dependence, and the inability to cope with the demands of everyday life.
The hospital was started in 1938 with an aim at providing quality services in a cost-effective manner. Inpatient, residential partial hospitalization, day treatment, intensive outpatient, crisis intervention, consultation and education and EAP (employee assistance program) are the key services available there. Supervised group living, community living program, clubhouse, medication and family education and support are the community focused programs provided.
Wabash Valley Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
