Established in 1912, Arkansas Children's Hospital is the only health care facility in Arkansas dedicated absolutely to children. It is one of the tenth largest in the nation offering high quality medical care to children from birth to age 21. Through a partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, it is the site of pediatric training for medical and nursing students, post-doctoral residents and paramedical professionals.

Arkansas Childrens Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
