This 158-bed, private healthcare facility provides medical, surgical and pediatric care along with cardiac, neonatal and intensive care units; cancer, joint care, diagnostic imaging and eye surgery center; skilled care, home health, and outpatient behavioral health and rehabilitation. The Michael E. DeBakey Heart Institute of Kansas at Hays Medical Center offers a full service heart program, including 2 full time catheterization labs, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, open heart surgery and cardiac rehabilitation. Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Center, Hand Care Center, Joint Care Center and Joint Care Center are also functioning at the center.
