Republic County Hospital
Republic County Hospital, constructed in 1960, is a 63-bed health care facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital and its long term care institution is owned by the citizens of Republic County and operated by Great Plains Health Alliance. The hospital's state-of-the-art medical and caring staff offers comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetrical and family practice services. RCH Laboratory provides a wide range of diagnostic services. It also organizes public and professional education programs and childbirth education classes based on nutrition, prenatal exercises, breathing and relaxation, labor and delivery, breast and bottle feeding and infant care.
