Central Kansas Medical Center
Central Kansas Medical Center, an affiliate of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), is a two-campus, 99-bed, regional acute care facility founded by the Dominican Sisters. The main campus, Central Kansas Medical Center is located in Great Bend and the second campus, St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, is located in Larned. The center provides a full range of medical, surgical and emergency care.
The hospital's state-of-the art facilities include a full laparoscopic system, family birthing rooms, a well-equipped intensive care unit, an emergency room, a Level II nursery, and fixed site MRI and CT equipment. Other services available at the hospital are physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation, cardio-respiratory, laboratory, skilled nursing care, respite care, ACR approved mammography, and home health and hospice care.
Oncology, orthopedic, pulmonology, cardiology and nephrology outpatient clinics are available at Central Kansas Medical Center and a 30-bed long-term care unit is available at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital.
