Mercy Health Center



Mercy Health Center, a division of Mercy Health System of Kansas, serves the parts of southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri. It has been operated by the Sisters of Mercy, the ninth largest Catholic healthcare system in the U.S., since 1886. It has 68 acute care beds and 23 swing beds. Major services and specialty areas in the center are family birthplace, home health, outpatient services, physical/occupational/speech therapy, critical care, heart failure program, senior health services and rural outreach clinics. The rehab centre, at Mercy, offers comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation program in the areas of stroke, congenital deformities, trauma, brain injury, amputation, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal cord injury, orthopedic dysfunction and degenerative neurological disorders.

Mercy Health Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
