The county-owned, not-for-profit, 28-bed Morris County Hospital serves the seven community region surrounding and including Council Grove. The hospital, dedicated to serve the people of all ages, has 29 adult beds and 6 nursery beds. The facility provides surgical and diagnostic procedures concerning, general surgery, laparoscopy, urology and ophthalmology. Emergency medical services, physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, radiology, laboratory and dietary are the other ancillary services provided at the hospital.

Morris County Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
