Via Christi Regional Medical Center, which belongs to the Via Christi Health System, is the largest catholic not-for-profit, full service community hospital in Kansas. It has two acute-care campuses, Via Christi-St. Francis at 929 N. St. Francis and Via Christi-St. Joseph at 3600 E. Harry. With over 1,532 acute care beds and 800 active physicians on staff, the center provides a behavioral health campus, rehabilitation hospital, home health agency and outpatient services at several satellite locations.

Via Christi Regional Medical Center offers a comprehensive array of critical-care services including the region’s only Burn Center and its largest and only American College of Surgeons verified Level I Trauma Center for Adults and Children. In addtion, it has state-of-the-art centers for cancer and heart diseases, diabetes care, sports medicine and rehabilitation as well as the region’s only tissue, organ and bone marrow transplant programs. The center also features a 24-hour research pharmacy, the CLIA accredited laboratory, 5 heart catheterization laboratories and the Electrophysiology laboratory.

It is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).

Via Christi Regional Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
