Originally built in 1960, Harper Hospital District No. 5 is a rural hospital located in the state of Kansas. It is a 25-bed critical access hospital with 13 long term beds, assisted living facility, and 3 rural health clinics. Different specialties and clinics available through the hospital are home health care, skilled nursing, long term care, wellness center, cardiology, urology, pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, family practice, geriatric medicine, surgery, advanced trauma life support and critical care. In addition to the above, hospital provides bone density, sonogram, mammogram, and MRI diagnostics on site.
