Sabetha Community Hospital
Sabetha Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, critical access provider located in Sabetha, Kansas.
Established in the year 1912, Sabetha Community Hospital was originally owned by a private physician and later transferred the ownership of the hospital to the Sisters of Saint Joseph. In 2001, the city of Sabetha purchased the hospital and converted into a sole community critical access hospital.
The current facility, licensed for 25 beds, has a free standing clinic with 78 physicians on the medical, courtesy and consulting staff, and a professional and support staff of 100 plus employees. Major services offered at the hospital include, long term care, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, rehabilitation services, specialty physician clinics and women’s services. In addition to its primary and preventive health care services, the hospital provides Life Star, an emergency airlift transport system designed for immediate transfer of patients.
