Built in 1959 as a non-profit institution, Lane County Hospital and Long Term Care Unit is the recognized health care provider and employer for Lane County. It employs more than 65 people and has 10 beds for acute and swing bed, as well as 21 long term care beds. The hospital provides acute care, area mental health, cardiac care, emergency care, emergency services, home health, lab services, lifeline, medical clinic, CAT scan, nutritional services, observation care, physical therapy, fitness club, sports therapy, X-ray services, mammography, sonograms and temporary care.
