Mary Breckinridge Hospital

Mary Breckinridge Hospital, located within the city limits of [hyden], Kentucky near the Middle Fork of the Kentucky River and within the Daniel Boone National Forest. MBH opened on February 10, 1975; replacing the Hyden Hospital which operated from 1928 through February 9,1975. Mary Breckinridge Hospital is a Level I Acute Care 40 bed facility, which provides Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and OB/GYN inpatient services as well as Outpatient Surgery, Observation and Level I Emergency Room Services. Ancillary Services provided include Radiology, Laboratory, Respiratory, EKG, Physical Therapy, Social Services and Pharmacy.
