Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center

Founded in 1773, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is one of the oldest continuous health care systems on the east coast of Maryland. This full-service hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Spread over an area of 130-acre, the campus is the home to neonatal intensive care units, a sleep disorders center, an area-wide trauma center and the state's only regional burn center. It offers a range of services for the community, including labyrinth, neurology, trauma, otolaryngology and rheumatology.

National Institute on Aging's Gerontology Research Center, National Institute on Drug Abuse Addiction Research Center and Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center are within the premises.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center provides both Research and Teaching facilities.
