Rumford Hospital

Rumford Hospital (RH), formerly called Rumford Community Hospital, was started in 1926. This critical access hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to the residents of River Valley and neighboring counties.

Through its affiliation with Central Maine Medical Center, RH offers specialty clinics in orthopedics, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology and nephrology. An array of education and wellness and prevention services, including LifeStrides - a cardiac rehabilitation program - are provided.

Rumford Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
