Sebasticook Valley Hospital

Sebasticook Valley Hospital (SVH) is a community health center in Pittsfield, Maine. Started in 1963 by a group of community leaders, the hospital is an integral part of the communities in central Maine.

SVH has a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including over 20 specialty services. Pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, surgery, orthopedic services, podiatry (surgical procedures), cardiology, ophthalmology, obstetric services and urology are the specialty care services provided.

Sebasticook Valley Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Sebasticook Valley Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
