Charles A Dean Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home (C A Dean) is an acute care facility nestled near the shores of Moosehead Lake in Greenville.

The hospital was started in 1911 with a mission to provide quality services to the local community, tourists and lumbermen. Apart from specialty clinics, C A Dean offers services such as cardiology, transitional care, laboratory services, rehabilitation, podiatry and mammography.

The nursing home, originally opened in 1968 and then relocated to its present building on the C A Dean campus in 1984, accommodates both long term residents and patients who need rehabilitation.

Charles A Dean Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
