West Shore Medical Center
West Shore Medical Center is a free standing municipal hospital, which serves the residents and visitors of Manistee and surrounding communities. Its services include cardiac / pulmonary care, critical care unit, diabetes care, diagnostic services, hospice and home health care, rehabilitation, sleep disorders center and surgery.
West Shore sponsors health promotion programs, screenings and other health classes. In addition, weekly and bi-weekly specialty clinics (specialties: nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, sleep disorders and urology) are arranged at the Northwest Michigan Health Center.
Healing Arts Gallery, the center for arts exhibitions, is located on the first floor of the hospital. The gallery is open to the public during the regular hospital hours.
