Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service, multi-specialty health center serving Kent and surrounding counties. This hospital, formerly known as Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital, was started in 1942.

Metropolitan Hospital sponsors numerous classes and education programs on the topics of diabetes, community health and nutrition.
